It's pretty hard to wear a flywheel out...

Flywheel lightening only helps the car move forward easier... yes its about momentum. Thats why heavy flywheels (say like in a BMW 325) will keep the car rolling wiith clutch out and no gas (ok, maybe a tad) try that with a light flywheel and itll stall everytime.

It makes it more responsive... you CAN go half way, lighten it a bit, but not too much... find a medium that works for your engine car.

Im happy with liight, the lighter the better hehehe

Mine in the 1360 is lightened the same as pristics, but the one for the 1412 stroker is getting holes put in it by GR too.
Reason- the lighter the flywheel, the less the torsional vibes in the crank (which has been wedged as well for similar reasons).
1275 cranks all go through a bad vibe period from 4000-5000 rpm. Lightening things diminishes the amplitude and moves it up the rev band. :wink:
