an a series with 150hp would definately be unreliable and practically undriveable on the street hey.

I dunno about that- Boostedmini's 1360 stroker turbo has ~140, would not be hard for him to find another 10!

Yeah well Kevin for well over the five G mark you should get some bang for your buck I reckon.

I am trying to talk him into the hybrid route and he is keen on the CB70 Daihatsu.

Has anyone good good intel on this little gem?

Dansedgli,

Really? Can I ask where from and how much?

Were they hard to find, and what is your intention with engine - stock or rocket?

Can you post a pic of it. :D

The goal is just reliable streeter. It will be a bonus if it runs anywhere near a 13. I dont want to stress the engine too much. Ill be happy with 130wheel HP.

My other car should run a high 10, the mini is just a toy that Im working on.

It cost me $1800 off these forums with an aftermarket ems.

how much structual modification is needed to fit one of these suzuki or daihatsu engine
in to a round nose mini.

becase from previous experiance if i can do the work myself it saves me thousands in
labour charges. do you need to be a engineer to fit them in.

are they legal do they need to go over a pit to be checked by the road transport department.

because 140 horses at the wheels does sound exciting especially with fuel economy and relabilty.
