an FJ20 turbo donk in the thing,,,, & as far as i can remeber he was doing 8sec 1/4 miles in the thing,,,Launch is an understatement

I know there isn`t much BMC left in the old girl,,,more Jap than brit, but still an awsome car!!!!!!!!!

The mini man,
That was the fastest 4 cyl in the world for some time, apparently it hit a wall hard and is now a wreck under his house. Those fj20's have to be one of the best 4 cyl motors ever built, although they are getting old and rare now.

Makka, That definatly sounds like the car in the book. I used to be into escorts big time. I have owned about 13 of them, the last one was a really nice mk1 2 door 2 litre and it was bloody quick :twisted:
