i think 100kph is about 4000rpm with a 3.4 diff?
all minis even the 850's will do 110kph, and anything more is illegal

my old 850 used to cruise at 100 just fine going down to narooma from sydney all the time. it just took a loooooong time to get to 100 which only teaches you that the quickest way to drive is to maintain the momentum.

much better with the 998 though

115KMH in my 1360 now is ~5000, with the 3.647 diff in. I don't change down for anything... just squeeze the loud pedal!
