Don't forget- S/S expands a shitload more than MS does.. and it stains with heat.
Why not buy a steel one, then get it coated by www.hpcoatings.com.au

hmmm...never even heard of it...looks pretty good though...will look into it when it comes time to buy the exhaust...i kinda like the heat stains you get on stainless...i am a blacksmith so i find having the tempering color gradients on metal fairly appealing :)
