72 centres

8.5mm holes

distance from bottom of carb throat hole to the inner edge of ramflow back plate is 18mm but remember you cant go this far with the ram tube roll back as the filter will use about 13mm on this edge. I suppose as it's foam it won't make too much difference.

make sense Kev?

I'll take two please.

I could make the flange ~75mm diameter and linish the bottom of it back to clear the rim of the Ramflo backplate..

I'll check out Gafmo's carb- Morris can be the guinea pig.

TK, you have a similar set up with the graeme russell inlet manifold to one of my customers cars, what needle are you running in it as im finding it really hard to set up a base line to work from.
Its a S motor fully worked but i have a BCG needle in at the moment and it still would like a bit more fuel up at the top end but is too lean down the bottom, my next step is to openup the jet, but would love to find out what you are running and how you find the inlet manifold.
Ill be in for some ram tubes for Hif44 if they are available.

The Needle I had was a BCE and I Now run a BDL the BDL is richer all the way except at idle try one of these and see how it goes. I am still not happy with the bottm end Tourque but it is better thenI had. The twin 11/4 gave me better tourque then the 1 3/4 but that is due to a high air speed.

Arrgh. Sorry Jai it slipped my memory. Combination of old age and too much booze.

I'll take the carb apart tonight when I get home from work.

Sorry mate
