Good in its day, but there are much better performing more civilised cams about now. :wink:

i ran a 731 in my 998 and wasnt overly extatic about it.

I have a 266 in my 1293, it gets a nice kick at about 3000, but it has strong consistent
power right off idle. its not really lumpy and very mild. not sure how a 266 would go in a small bore tho?

hey everyone im also after a cam for my 1098.... it has, Alloy intake, HS4 carb, extractors, full 1.75'' exhaust, ram stack with KnN filter...... i am wanting a cam that is awsome down low right from idle to about 4500RPM.... any ideas?

Todd, I'd probably be looking at a 266 - makes power from around 1000 - 6500rpm. See what the others think - they may have a better one to recommend.
