i had to put a booster on mine to keep engineer happy, no room in my bay for a windscreen washer bottle no way a booster would fit so i fitted it under the dash on passenger side, out of the way and works well. My vh44 cost $20 of ebay but needed a reco which set me back $250.

That's where my wife's one is going. Holes are drilled in body already...

My VH44 cost me nix (from a friend) and the kit was $230 fitted, a while back.

I've also heard of putting them under the guard (not sure how easy it would fit under a mini guard though), you can also relocate other non essential stuff. A mate of mine has his washer bottle in one of the back storage bins from memory! I, on the other hand, simply removed all the windscreen washer gear as it serves no purpose, with a mechanical pump the water hardly comes out at all, and when you drive hard it comes out the jets when you dont want it to and marks the paint!

I have the Toyota washer bottle and pump, and the Fiamm air horns all under the LF guard. 8)

Problem with putting the booster there- it sucks air in thru its filter whenever you hit the brakes. Water and mud will clog up the filter...

If you have no space in the engine bay, just fit a alfa or bmw brake booter. These are inline brakeboosters and you can put then anywhere in the car.... even in the back!.
