how much was shipping? coz 74 pounds is like $200ish...which is a MASSIVE saving...if shipping wasnt much more than $50 it'd be a bargain...also how much were the mounting brackets from cobra? i'm lazy and can't be arsed whacking some together myself...plus my welder is currently busted...damn hand-me-downs...

They cost $139 (from ACT Revolution Racegear) per seat.
I've been looking at these as well, but not for Cobra seats.

what seats have you been thinking of fitting?

what a coincidence HAHAHA!
just today my mate was telling me how awesome these are and braggin to me how he was gonna get some coz they are on special at suzisport in stafford up here in bris...a pair for $500...he owns a suzuki baleno...

i dunno about those seats...they look pretty good...they are ADR approved (but i think all seats for cars in australia have to be) not FIA approved...personally i would prefer the ruggedness of race built gear like cobra/sparco/recaro seats...but that's just me :)

yeah well you cant win em all plus i'm not looking to spend $1000+ on seats

would have liked to but its just not gonna happen
anywayz the roll cage will kinda stop me from reclining the seats as well as the fact that i'm STILL waiting for the Mendoza mechanical Vtec subframe to be completed and then thats comming over asap!
mmmm......vtec

well lets see....so far....not a whole lot

Rough estimate so far:

$200 for the car
$3300+ shipping for the subframe, discs, fuel tank, coil-overs (front), drive shafts
$160 for new head lights (100/55w H4)

got to buy yet:
engine/gbox
panel beating
paint
wheels
reco'ed rear drums (doing it all myself just parts really)
rear coil-overs
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++
and the list goes on......

its going very very slowly....not enough $$$$
should be GREAT when finished! :?

you should see the condition of it though
think of it as a parts car - but as the story goes...you could never just keep a mini and use it for spares!

i'll put pics up of the car when bought soon...
