Im looking for a set of decent rampipes for my 45 DCOE. Not much luck around town in canberra, but one race shop showed me a brouchure with some of these: http://www.pipercross.net/competition_rampipes.asp
He said he couldnt tell me a price until they got here :( .
Does anyone know if you can get them in aus? or a similar product with large rolled back radius?

Yeah blue anodised is cool. All the pipes on tweakit are too long :( . I really want to stay with the K&N filter... maybe ill have to go stubstacks.
They cant really be any longer than 50mm

Graham Russell makes short DCOE ones from steel tube, with a full roll back entry, for DCOEs. Suitable to fit socks on. If you want some ring him.
No they won't fit my Dellorto... :cry:

105mm-35mm= 70mm
= too long...

I need some for my LS, too. Apparently you can get 'em from the UK pretty cheap and easy from one of their larger mini suppliers.

I don't wanna go chopping up my firewall either...

I don't think it would be worth the hassle, if a Webber/Dellorto, there are plenty of Aussie/US Cars that used them locally and an abundance of RAM pipes around..Look at any V8 spares shop..

The tube ones that GR makes have a full rollback like ose Pipercross ones, but they fit into the front of your 45DCOE, no flange.

No, there's no Bling!- they are made from steel tube.
I guess you could get 'em chromed if you need to, but if you fit socks you won't see them anyway.... 8)

Yeah I had the G.R. ones on my 1380... with two socks over them...

It was amazing the extra hp that you get from something so simple...

We had my motor on the dyno & we could see the actual Hp difference in a second...

I vote they are worth every dollar as long as you use them with Socks.

They fit inside the mouth of the Weber, and I guess the outer radiused edge is 20mm? from the carb face. Maybe less if you want..
re the price- Graham says $30/pr pick up, or $40 incl overnight freight to Can-Bra. :wink:
