i've just acquired a bit of dosh and after i have my baby resprayed and get the supercharger conversion done im hoping to have around $2k to spend. Now interior wise she's good and i can probably do that myself as i have picked up some tips from an auto upholsterer i now work with, its got a new muffler and exhaust, so can anybody give me some ideas, i know its not a lot in Suping up a mini, but any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

depends what area you want to focus on? Exterior, Interior, Engine performance mods, handling etc..

You could go a nice set of shock, neg camber kit, new cones (if dry) rear sway bar, nice tires etc..etc..

If your whacking on the supercharger (what kit? SC12?) You'd hoped to have put some money towards rebuilding the engine..at least new bearings, maybe a rebore, rings, lightened flywheel, head, cam..etc..

I'm sure it wont be hard to spend half of that on some new tyres to go with your level
of power. :D

well as i said interior is fine and i've set aside money for the exterior, so it would all be engineish, but what about a disc brake conversion, how much would that set me back? or what about suspension? any more feedback would be great!

Erm...your superchargin it (small bore i assume since you don't have disc brakes already) and you hadn't planned on disc brakes  ...first thing i would do before the supercharger came..~$1500 for an S setup with cheaper alternatives out there..

A set of shocks will set you back $5-600 for adjustable well known brands, with cheaper varieties like the KYB GAS-A-JUST? i think available..

yerp, disc brakes, from about $500 upwards, then sticky tyres, then suspension upgrades.

also yeah don't supercharge a tired motor, it will blow up 8)

well its only a week and a half and i'm in brisvegas, and once i'm down there i've got a month off work so i'll get all that stuff sorted down there. If there are any other mini fans in brissy who would be willing to come and have a squiz at my mini and give me an idea on whether the engine is indeed capable of being supercharged, that would be a great help. Let Me know where in Brissy i can get the work done aswell!. All your help is appreciated!
