these are pretty ricey i know...but i still think they'd look pretty sweet on a mini :)

http://images.minispeed.co.uk/pmss-s-oe.jpg

does anyone know where you can get these in AU? I want a full stainless exhaust setup...stainless from head to tail...i've have this hangup about non-stainless components...there's nothing that looks worse than a rusty exhaust system...so stainless is a must...what do you guys reckon?

Stainless is nice, but twin is pure rice !

Many new cars come with stainless exhausts - you might be able to pick up a near new system of a jap car or holden & cut it down to suit

Not much point in that on an engine with only 3 exhaust ports

I know...but not only am i a stickler for stainless...i also abhor things that are asymmetrical...hence my want of twin pipes split out like that...dual or quad...doesnt bother me...just want something that'll look both symmetrical and a bit different from your normal run of the mill mini...

the dual pipes will also match the color scheme...the 350Z has dual pipes just like that :)

the only way 2 do it right so it does not hang low is to raise the Batt. Box or piss it off and move the battery

oh that's right...the battery would be in the way...damn...totally forgot about that :( perhaps you could just raise the battery well to be flush with the boot floor...then it should fit :P

There is a twin exhaust system specially designed for Minis.. its in ALL the mini mags from the UK. I spoke to my local Midas and they said they can do same.

depends on the materials you wanted to use, whether you wanted two mufflers or just one, etc etc...

If you are in Sydney, call Ken from Midas at Haberfield (on parramatta road). he is a mini nut and LOVES my cars. He is cheap and ALWAYS has done good by me

(enough of a plug)

In all seriousness he si a pretty good bloke and knows the Mini in and out...
