If there is someway that you could say move the caliper around the circle of the hub you should escape the issue of spacing of the disc. Meaning make up a bracket that bolts to the existing caliper holes and has holes drilled further around and mount the caliper that way?
I'm tossing ideas here but if (say) the standard mounting points are at 1 & 3 o'clock and you make up a bracket that bolts to 1 & 3, but has new holes at 2 & 4 o'clock that would have to work?
Problem with these drum brake swivel hubs is there are NO `caliper holes' or lugs, only the 3 tapped holes facing the wheel, where the backplate bolts on.
And an S disc set up on there leaves only a gnat's dick clearance to this face. That's why most conversions to disc using drum swivel hubs involves foreign rotors & calipers- Honda, Camira etc. This way the wheel track is kept about the same as an S setup.
