Hey guys, just wondering if you could get rid of the cap off a normal radiator, turn it on its side and run it that way with a swirl pot? Not Sure if they qorl the same way on their side? I'm trying to squeeze a mini one front ways in my swift conversion and it fits right side up but just looks a bit crappy..

Cheers

Sean

I don't see why not, but don't make it horizontal- keep the top tank end 1/2" or so higher (with cap near the top) than the other end.
[edit] you may need a header tank to keep the rad full, or relocate the filler.

I have a front mount rad.

A morris 1100 one works and is what im using in qld heat.

im in the middle of modding a R1 rad same size as a morris 1100 rad.
