Hi Guys , just started assembling my 1100 motor and i am having a few issues . I have a set of fully lightened re sized and balanced rods but i done a dry assembly only to find that the side clearance between the big end of the rod and crank is 0.025 , is this a big problem or do i need to get another set of rods. I know performance motors have larger clearances but is this a bit too much?

I believe they had around .010-.012" side clearance when new but I can't see a problem in having more.
Less than .010" is a problem though, as the crankwebs flex..
