i have a t2 from from a plusar.... should be good, the guys at screaming performace think it will spool up quick and I shouldnt have a heap of lag. Full boost by 3500rpm....

going to a HUGE turbo wouldnt be great as you are going to be heaps slow off the lights until you hit boost then you are just going to break traction (then slow you down more@!)

MABEY... But how many people have seen a mini loosing traction half way through the gears? and it shouldnt be too slow off the line it will still be a 1275, slow off the line would be a 998 and having one for the past 2 years makes me want the 1275 finished... YESTERDAY!!

Gordo, i think id want to know what ive got on the inside before strapping power to the outside of your little engine.
Little prep and big power= lots of time off the road.
If you want big boost and big power id be looking at engine internals as well.

NOS is a good way to cover over the lag
hide the bottle in a dummy rh fuel tank and your laughing!

The engine is in pieces so it wont be hard to see what the internals are.. Im not just gonna go out buy a turbo and strap it on and hope for the best, even though it does sound like a hell of fun
So if i have a A+ motor and box and lets say its all standard internals, and i was told this motor was origionaly a metro turbo unit, what sort of turbo would get me to kick in boost at around 3000 rpm? and hopefuly push me back into the seat

any T2,T25,T25g,Gt25,gt25r,gt25rs,gt28 will come on hard around 3000-3500rpm... get a t25g from a nissan sr20 (got mine for $200) and it will hold more boost then you need and kick in just when you want...

one for sale here:
