I got the metro discs and hubs. Need to buy the earlier model ball joints as the later model ones are larger and tappered. Got my bottom arms out, got the later model ball joints. No major hassle there.

Lugged the damn things out. I thought f@rk these are heavy, this is going to slow Striped down a hell of alot. So I yell to the other half to bring me the scales. 14kg's each, no driveshafts attached!

Questions.....
Considering these Hondas are using the drum brake hub, how much does the set up weigh? How much does a standard drum and disc brake hub assembly weigh?

Do i need to grin off the things that protrude from the flange face?

Does it matter that I broke one of the bleed niples off?

I know the Hondas are a little lighter. Swivels hubs- drum or disc are almost the same, calipers are where the weight is.
WTF don't they make them alloy..
Yes you can machine or grind those lumps off the drive flanges.

I knew I was f@rked when i broke the nipple off but was just praying that it wasn't entirely necessary. Thought the the calliper could just be bled from the other nipple.

Brad I think it depends on the wheels you run as to whether you grind off the lugs, I've read that the lugs have to come off on just about every article concerning metro brakes! Performance rims must have a larger centre hole than some other rims :?:

yeh it is a very tight fit,, so close that that the actual paint on the wheels makes them not fit,, but once that is removed they fitted on
