Can anyone tell me about the legalities of fibreglass bonnets??
Are they OK with the long arm of the law??
Can you just put one on or do you need an engineers certificate??

Any info appreciated.

just a bonnet, or a full flip front? just the bonnet would be fine, but flip fronts gotta be engineered, proper bracing from the front of the subframe to the suspension turrets etc. required

Actually looking into making a custom one. I'll get photo's on here when I'm done and see if anyone wants to buy one!! It's for a round nose, but if it works well I may make a clubman one too!

So you going to have it held on with pins and not use the bonnet catch.

Also are you going to make a Bonnet scoop in too.
