Finally got the Hybrid subframe in and hubs and wheels attached. Next comes the engine mounts. Getting there...

getting there :D same brakes as mine, love them. Looks awsome low like that without the suspension fitted :)

Duco also looke neat, wish i had a nice base to start with, save a heap of time.

edit:::

did you see my thread on my trip to the drags?? I ran a 13.9 on 10psi (140hp@wheels) full street trim (840kg with me) something for you to look forward too.

Hey Minstar. Congrats on the progress so far.

What are your plans to overcome the suspension geometry changes with the metro hubs?

The metro turbo brakes (vented discs & 4 pots) are a bolt up to mini disc brake hubs, ala Brad's set up (I sold them to him). No need to use the metro hubs. Steve

Yeah gafmo still going with the red but obviously I still need to weld in the engine mounts so no point in painting her all up and then having to remove the paint to weld the mounts. I just bought myself a spray gun so once she finished on goes the red! It's only one coat of primer to stop it rusting between works.

Brad yeah about the duco I will get the thing registered and then go back at some stage and paint her (one thing at a time hey). And yeah it woudl be cool to get away with it sitting that low but the subframe sits about 70mm off the ground :twisted:

thanks for the encouragement all. Cheers Matt
