hey everyone. i was wondering how hard is it to get a flip front registered in qld. if you have one on your mini and you are around the gold coast and brisbane area, were abouts did you get it done, and how much did it cost. was it hard to get it registered with it on..... thanx :)

should be legal with proper support
you will need supports running from the front of the subframe to the top suspension tower to compensate for the bits u remove
price depends on which way ur going
cheapest is to keep metal front
unpick along the seam (will prob have to cut some parts off)
brace the subframe then put hinges on the front where the front can sit on
more expensive way is go fibreglass front
make mold of front of car, cut old front off
make product out of mold, brace the subframe
make product fit and line up properly
depends on how handy u are metal one can normally be done for under $100 from what i've heard
fibreglass ur looking more at the $1500 mark
