can you run a 1360 with a RE-13t cam with no S/c or turbo while running in the motor.

to answer your question
i have run in my rebuilt 1360 with an re-13T and lowered compression, its not perfect, but still drives really well considering, wasted a couple of 6 cyl commodores with it anyway
and its better than my 1310 pre-rebuild.

I would assume, yes. But not sure.

Let me ask you this. When running in the motor, do you need max power? If you did surely you would run in with boost?

Run in nice and sedately, then crank some boost! 8)

There will be a bit less top end as the overlap is less, by around 14°.
But it certainly will not be a slug. 8)
