i agree, this pulsar dizzy thing needs to stop

Why does it need to stop?

Why cant people be free to make their own decisions?

Yeah I agree with that too (miniless). If you don't like the nissan conversion (which I know you don't Spaceboy as I've seen in other threads) then that's fair enough, but at some point you should give it a rest, let us more experimental people have fun with toys and stuff. Me myself, i'm very much into this, I got N15 pulsar alterntor, 85 dizzy which is going in soon, and a toyota (SC-12) supercharger in the shed awaiting a kit.

Thanks for bringing this to my knowledge, a greasing I shall go!

I've been running mine unmodified for over 2 years without a hitch or any detrimental effects to the engine and it starts first go every time and has knocked off every small at the last couple of dyno events too so it can't be all bad in my books.

never had any problems with points, or with my mini not running in the wet.

maybe all those out there complaining about points just need to learn how to change
them properly, it really is not that hard u know

You hit the nail on the head Chris . Ive never had any problems with the lucas dizzy . If the points are adjusted correctly and you use waterproofing , you won't ever have any problems .....Raced a speedway mini for 10 yrs and never had any problems with the lucas dizzy ...I think it all comes down to education , or should I say at the risk of offending some people ..... laziness

This is the mod that GR has done - the hole is about 5mm in diameter above the grove he cut.

i agree pulsar dizzy is the way to go. had one for 3 yrs now not a problem. lucas dizzy on the other hand had the points changed a couple of times but still worked ok. when i used standard pulsar dizzy more power and better starting.
