Where`s the air filter???,,,,well,,,that pic was from so long ago (from just after fitting the engine) & we hadn`t even got the pipercross filter onto it at that stage,,,but we did later & then ended up swapping for the 1"&3/4 SU carb anyways :-)

not mucking with any of that stuff on my own car anymore,,,full sequential Autronic engine management system for me now :-) the bummer is tho,,,i have to actually pay someone else to tune it for me :-(

Don't you find that with twin carbies over 1.5 inch the air signal across the jet gets to slow at low RPM and the low speed drivabilty gets a bit ragged? Vizard once wrote in CCC that if SU's were made in Italy everyone would rave about them.
