Are there any mods needed to fit 13" rims as far as structural. e.g. the front wing has to be strengthened as there is more force on the car as the 13's grip better.

Thaks for all the advice I have been given so far it really helps.
Love the forum.

in theory you are supposed to fit a sportspack steering rack (with larger turning circle) to stop the wheels fowlung the inner pannel on turning but noone fits the rack :D

We have two minis running on 13"s and friends as well. None of us have done anything other than cut away at the front bodywork.

All you have to do is get 15mm spacers in front and 30mm at the back. Also depending on your mags - dish deepness..... I run 13x50x175 (Bridgestones or perelli). Expensive tyres but did not have to cut anything and the turn is the same as with 10 or 12" wheels.

Just close to the shock!...
