i'm buying a 1360 with 45mm weber it has a 649 cam is this a good cam?

From memory the 649 is fairly wild , good power but you might find it a bit lumpy for low rev's work . I think it was classed as a rally cam originally .

649 is the old ST full race cam, its a great old cam in a large bore motor, power delivery is best from about 5,000-7,500 but they are alright down to about 2,500-3000 in the large motors were only really (not sure if they were really) beaten by the Kent scattercams but that is open to debate

to change the Cam Is a engine out jobby Hey Dr. then you have to dial it Back in and Set timing Best left for When new Engine is HEre and worked on.
