Hi Guys,

I just got hold of the new Pulsar N12 dizzy, and have done all of the mods with regards the shaft and so on. The only question that I have is with regards the mounting of the unit to the engine.

Here is a picture of the clamp that came of the old distributor.

Here is a picture of the dizzy mounting braket on the N12

The question is; do I cut off the existing mounting bracket? Then will bracket in the first picture fit around the casing or do I have to file off the fins on the casing as shown here?.....

If someone can point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated. :?

OK, you get a hacksaw and cut that lug off. Then file or linish that bit down carefully, until it's the same diameter as the round part- which just happens to be the right size for the clamp.
Make sure the clamp is round inside, people overtighten them and bend the **** out of them.
But yours looks OK. :lol:
