MiniMitch,,,just to let you know & others Know, i have had many customers of crash`s come here with their paint literally falling off the car,,,scrape & orby marks everywhere, poor prep & even poorer application. Absolute fact, some of these customers were talking about taking him to court. i have no idea what ended up happening tho.

I have quite a few very good friends who are panel beater/spray painters & they`ve seen these particular jobs too & they also have spoken their thoughts about the quallity (or lack of) of those particular paint jobs to those particular people & basically the result is--->"""not happy Jan"""

now i must say that i don`t have any knowledge on any $$$ deal that was done by those people with crash as to the quallity of the job wanted & i don`t want to know either, just that i wouldn`t be taking my car there to be sprayed

if people just want their car with a full coat of colour & that`s it, in otherwords they don`t really care how good the job is or how long it lastes then maybe that`s what they asked for,,,i don`t know, some people just want it done as cheap as possible,,,so maybe you just get what you pay for

the "Very Fast Paint Shop" used to charge about $1000 for the same sort of job & i wouldn`t ask for that to be done to my car either.

i can show you some of those "un-happy" customers cars too,,,they still havn`t had them re-done yet so anyone interested in seeing what quallity was achieved are quite welcome to ring me & orgainsie a viewing

.

Exactly the reason they went out of business in a big way..........The motor repair industry is in a bit of a worrying state nowadays with regards to skilled tradesmen.

I work in the trade and i could count on one hand the number of people i'd genuinely trust to work on any of my cars........panelbeaters,painters,mechanics etc.

Combine that with 99% of customers who have the highest of standards and are no way prepared to pay for it and there is a recipe for disaster like mentioned.
