Is it possible to get hydro lifters for a mini engine? Do you need to get a hyrdo camshaft aswell or can you stick to the solid state cam?

No way to run hydraulic lifters in a Mini, the oil gallery for pressure feed ain't there.
Ummm WHY would you?

Your engine is antique, designed ~ 1952- probably before hyd lifters were invented.
There was even a version of it in a (Mini) tractor.
Solids give more power anyhow, usually.....

I'll stick to the solids.. but with the oil gallery, can't you just use hollow push rods?
