pffffftttt..... like I said in this post previously.......I was at a show recently and there was a Chev Impala parked next to me. EVERYONE was raving about the paint....AND IT WAS ACRYLIC! The owner said LOTS OF COATS to give it good depth.
Everyone knows an extremely beautiful finish can be achieved with Acrylic, Not everyone knows to acheive this means more than just layin on a heap of coats then giving it a quick buff. With proper preparation and technique an OFF THE GUN Acrylic finish can be applied with the same Gloss as a two-pack finish. To get to that stage requires a phenomenal amount of surface prep and experience as well.
I agree nothing can compare to the soft lustre of a perfect acrylic laquer paint job, they just require a lot of upkeep that only fastidial owners can provide (which makes it perfect for the DIY mini enthusiast) If someone like Inzuma_x is going to pay someone to paint his car a significant amount of money then 2 pack is the only way to go full stop.
His paint will last forever, he wont "need" to wax it every month to keep it nurished and it will look fantastic. Having someone paint your car in Acrylic Lacquer means the finish will be as good as how much they're prepared to put into it. You dont want your painter to be in a bad mood that day!!

(they are usually sooky pricks at the best of times)
