i have been rebuilding my webber today and in the kit the where 2 large orings for the pumpjets and 6 small orings. 2 are for the idle mixture screws but there are 4 leftover that i have no idea where they go. any ideas

They live underneath the coil springs and 4 small cup washers at the base of the idle mixture screws.
By the way, it's Weber with a single 'B'. We wouldn't want to confuse these pieces of automotive legend with the humble BBQ would we now ! :wink:

They could simply be spares or they suit another 'model' of weber carb. Often those kits are packaged to suit various different sizes etc which may have different components. There should really be an instruction sheet in the box telling you what goes where and how many of them. 8)

there was only an exploded view. but i can't seem to find them so it might be for another weber

Um... my BBQ clearly says Weber on it too... :lol:

On a Dellorto DHLA (similar carb) there are O-rings around the idle jet holders.... look there too.
