...the MINI van. ![]() Apparently coming in 2013, it's a step too far. In my view. For what it's worth. Note: Pic above is a rendering, not an official BMW pic. |

Doesn't even need a Mini front end. Seen the MINI motor scooter? ![]() |

It's not a prototype, it's a concept rendering by a german mag who, along with others, have heard a rumour that's what's coming next. Damn, I like the VW concept bus. That I would buy, if I needed one. Perhaps the MINI van will be okay but it's hard to imagine it looking great let alone acceptable. I just don't think BMW can be taken seriously anymore, although if they want to add a van to their range it makes sense (I guess) to do it under the MINI banner. I am very much looking forward to the small MINI, the one that's only a couple of inches longer than the BMC mini. That has potential to be a superb vehicle. I'd like to see them to a real budget one and maybe a Supersports version. |

ok, so they had the Mini, which was bareable. Then they had the Clubman, which was actually more akin to the original Van/Traveller/Countryman, which apart from the name, and lack of 1 door, was also bareable. Then they bring out the Countryman, which should be called a Moke, but they can't as they don't own the rights to the name. So they call it what the Clubman should have been called, because, well, they can... And now, IF they bring out a Mini Van, which SHOULD be a Clubman (Countryman), without seats in the back!! Not this abomination. If BMW want a people move, make a freakin 4-series or something! Stop RAPING the mini brand name! God their naming scheme is arse about! I can imagine a Mini Broadspeed coming out, with one tonne carrying capacity! edit: You know you are deviating from the initial brand identity when the challenge "how many people can you fit in a mini" equates to "213" |

The Bini is growing rapidly!!! The front ends aren't even the same anymore! Countryman is totally different to Mini. |
