Mini Crossover testing mule spotted in camoflage. Check out the gallery - the black car, much smaller, in front of the Mini? That's a BMW 1 Series. I'm pretty ambivalent towards the MINI, the Clubman does annoy me on so many different levels, but Leyland/Rover should have put a caveat on the Mini brand before they sold it to BMW. Namely that subsequent models should not have their own area codes. |

sporty SUV's piss me off, but using the Mini name for an SUV is worse. |

well hopefully they'll destroy the MINI name/reputation, be forced to stop making them as no one will buy them, and we can all go back to enjoying our mini's in relative peace and tranquility. ![]() |

![]() you are kidding right? that ugly bastard won't be able to drive on the footpath let alone a decent rough track. BMW know their target market does not need/want to go off road. And that is the point of the exercise. For many years BMW have made a great profit from marketing options instead of cars, a higher profit than Toyota made by selling many times more cars. This is just another platform in one of their brands to sell more options. i think it is horribly ugly myself cheers michael |

I am over it... I owned one of the first BINI coopers on the road in Australia. was a great car. I sold it two years ago, but I'm over it because of things like this. they are milking the mini name for all it's worth and it's disgusting. what, on the car, relates to the original mini, apart from some ever-loosening styling cues? in no way does it represent anything that the original mini ever did. |
