OK OK so some mates have now convinced me to hold onto the Mini (90% sure i will) BUT

I am going to do a little work to her so far i have desided to do the following

Ditch the run Flats and put some real performance tyres on there!
Get the windows tinted as dark as possible

Now this is where i am stuck! I would also like to do a little work under the hood? it's a 04 cooper S currently stock, I am at a loss as to what to do to her and who i can trust to do it!

If anyone has some suggestions on how to make her a little quicker and also the $$ that goes along with it I would love your help. I know a lot depends on budget but any suggestions (Other than a full JCW kit) would be great and if anyone in VIC knows a place to visit that would also be helpful.

Cheers all

In terms of mods, it's a bit like 'how long is a piece of string'.

Areas you may consider are:
- exhaust, air intake, pulley, ECU remap
- brakes, suspension
- wheels (ditch the 17" S-lites) and tyres

On my old Cooper, I did exhaust, ECU, suspension, wheels & tyres.

On the new S, I am planning exhaust, ECU, suspension (sounds familiar), wheels and tyres already done :)

Cheers
Chris

Good to hear that you are keeping the MINI

Head over to MINI2.com and check out the engine forum for ideas on what can be done.
Then when you have decided what you want to do check in to the Aussie form to find out where it can be done.

Chris is right, if you have 17" S-Lites then get rid of them, they are the heaviest wheels known to man.
