Sounds like this stuff is all just like the clubman all over again.

Yes the car is a little on the ugly side, but under the camoflage paint and stickers I'm sure it looks fine.

People have to remember MINI is it's own car brand now, they can't sell the same model for the rest of it's life. Even if all the cars have a resemblence to each other, it'll probably work well for them.
No matter what cars they introduce from here, someone will kick up a stink.
