This donk is for my mums old red/white/blue ratty station wagon

1415cc, 73mm bore 84mm crank, Ground offset & hardened & balanced
JP pistons (lopped tops off) 11.5:1 comp ratio,
Ported & flowed Cyl head with cams ground to suit,
ARP rod bolts "S" rods re-sized & narrowed to suit stroker crank
Light flywheel, orange clutch, AP plate
overhauld 4sync remote box with Quaife LSD
lots of goodies but lots of stock stuff too

we are just running the single SU carb ATM so we can check for oil & water leaks
before fitting the whole thing into the car,
-->once its in the car we will inject with Adaptronic ECU & all the sensors & triggers &
relays & high pressure fuel pump etc

Looks great Matt.
Question: why 8 valve and not 16?

Cheaper :-)

Also we had a spare 8v cyl head sitting here,
had the stroker crank just sitting here,
had a spare 73mm Bimmer-modified block just sitting here
had the old 4-sync g/box from mums car,,, basically we had it all just sitting here

& we wanted to test out our new single SU manifold

& we wanted to test out our new 8v cam-grind

so,,, it was simply a matter of "Because we can" :-)

it`s also a learning curve,,, we all need to keep learning i reckon
learn something every day or it is a waste of the day

we finally got some more time to throw this little fella into the hole & get him running
runs sweet as a nut & smooth as a baby`s bottom :-)

at some stage within the next few weeks we will throw all the injection stuff at it,
& run him up on the dyno
can`t wait :-)

cheers people
