May have been done before but searching through thousands of posts is painful. What have guys been doing for seat mount frames? I don't really want to use the store bought ones they look crap and don't think they'd be an engineers dream. Love to see some out of engineered cars. Cheers Sean |

I've seen pictures of rhs metal going from inner sill to transmission tunnel. In fact i think mini spares uk sell a kit, but after seeing your build thread it wouldn't be too hard for you to make your own. |

That's what I was thinking of doing as it's the easiest option, I don't care about rear passengers too. |

I dont have picures handy but in madmk1 the first time round, I welded in another crossmember the same as the original one with some captive nuts . seemed to do the job very well, and I thinkan engineer would have been for it! |
