I got myself a 3/98 GTI wreck and I'm in the process of stripping it. What do I need to keep in regards to wiring to keep it able to be a "turn key" engine  Is it just the loom running fron the engine through the firewall and to the ECU that I need to keep or do I also need other wire looms
Also am I correct to assume it's a mk3
And are the breaks worth keeping or any other parts

Just strip everything you can off it. Get all the wiring. Better off having it and not using it. Brakes are optional - they can be used but the setup is quite heavy. |
