If I recall correctly Simon Kerr started on this exact conversion and then sold it on to someone in Queensland??? I was sizing up a damaged Terrios the other day. Not as powerful but the driveline looked a heck of a lot easier to fit. EDIT: Found this. http://www.ausmini.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=56573&highlight=civic+awd |

no, I'm still working on mine - I have lots of plans and drawings, but not a lot of metalwork... rust repairs on the recipient and spending too much time on my cooper is holding it back. Maybe this year here's the best place to look, this is where I got the inspiration from (though I won't put a front subframe in the back, and I'll try very hard not to split the floor) http://www.ringmini.de/English_Version/ ... ck_up.html http://www.ringmini.de/Meine_Minis/Pick ... phase.html |

I wonder who bought it and if there has been any progress. $3000 seemed like a good price for all that stuff. |

Wasn't "AWDmoke" making an AWD moke using a Subaru but that was a few years ago and I thought he was trying to sell it ![]() |

hee hee,,, yeah the one that Tricky had was a funny story about that, turns out that both Tricky & me were the only ones bidding on it on e-bay , only we both didn`t know it was us biidding against eachother... & he ended up buying it (obviously i was too tight) anyways... i got to his place for a BBQ one day not long after there it was sitting in his driveway ![]() they`re a pretty solid foundation by the looks of things & so i bought another one, it`s sitting in melbourne atm & i need some way of getting it up here to start the conversion,,, i`ve got a price of $950 so far anyone know of any cheaper way? Or does anyone one in Melbourne want to buy it ($1200) ??? save me stuffing around transporting it up here i`d really like to see it in a morris 1100 tho,,, i reckon that would be a great conversion |

Who gave you that price Matt? I moved a Mini to Brisvegas a few years ago for less than $500 IIRC. Did you try loadshift.com.au? |

Matt, You only want the running gear less the motor, so why dont you get one of the guys to strip it down in Melbourne and palletize the components and get them shipped up here - might be cheaper - then you can get rid of the rest?? Would love to help yu with the design and CAD work. Cheers, Tricky |
