I'm thinking I might use Ausmini as a tool to record my shopping list for my next car... I seem to move house, lose hardrives, change employers, move countries and the only thing that remains constant is access to the ausmini database... so here goes. So I know its a forum, but I'm being selfish as this is really the only part of the forum I look in. Shell (Morris) - Simple paint/interior. As light as possible. Pulsar GTIR rear cradle & tailshaft (supports N/S engine configuration). Either this or buy a set of the Z cars rear control arms and fabricate a craddle that holds a diff and locates control arms (diff mount/driveshafts etc). The second option would be preferable as the gtir rear end means new a new fuel tank and compicated suspension set up. Big bike motor (pref carb fed to simplify fuel/wiring set up). Consider clutch set up to take additional weight (drag bikes). Engine to be located in standard mini subframe. Exhaust (simple enough). Room for turbo? Cooling (mini radiator in situ) Bike instrument cluster. If not possible, buy the promotive kit.

The other motor I,ve seen considered is the K3-VE used by Daihatsu and Toyota 1.3LTR 16valve DVVT 86HP at 6,000rpm 120Nm at 4,400rpm The earlier versions were oversquare but the later versions had a longer stroke for more low down torque , with the variable valve timing they increased the compression ratio to 10:1 , you could be lucky enough to find a 4 speed sequential gearbox out of a Copen .

I'm contemplating selling the chopper in favour of buying the minitec Honda kit too. The chopper just seems complicated and obnoxius (befitting of my character)

You might have to manufacture the rear end JC if its going to be AWD... Will you have any room left in the container for some bits n pieces???

There's the minitech option shown above that for $3k will be a fairly simple arrangement to fit (just need a new boot floor). Should have some room, what are you thinking of sending over?

Supercharger for the Y-Block, some Effie sheetmetal...
