One of my mates was looking at doing a FWD 10a but ditched the idea because of the engine size being slightly to large. a 10a rotary has a capacity of something around 1960cc and the biggest you can go (in NSW from what ive heard) N/A is 1920cc and mating a 10a to a FWD gearbox was abit of a pain in the backside. But yeh there is someone on youtube that has some videos of his RWD 13b build over in England so it has been attempted. |

This was my mates rotary. 10A fitted to a combi box. It was horrible, but to be fair, he did do a number of hillclimb events. It just needed time to be sorted properly. ![]() ![]() I'm still chasing photos of the Gulson/Hume brothers 13B rotary if anyone has any. |

There was big doubts over the legality of the whole thing at the time. But it was fast! ![]() |

I've got a review of the car that appeared in "Racing Car News" back in the 80's. The Hume brothers couldn't sell it complete, and ended up selling it as a roller. I spoke to the current owner with a view to buying it a few years ago. Haven't given up hope of buying it, just need more bugs bunny. |
