Post subject: | People with 13inch RIms - Help!!! |
Hi Also posted this in Mini Chat just incase some of you guys dont read that forum : ) Could the people with 13inch rims please let me know which brand of rims they have and width (as long as they have been legallly fitted - passed oz standards/engineered) eg. superlites etc I require this info as I am trying to keep the front track legal i.e standard 1274mm - I can go 25mm above this in total - 1299mm as I am getting an engineers certificate. Thanks |

Dunno if it helps you or not, but you might investigate the 'Sportspack' option from England - I know they were fitted with 12" rims & sportspack arches, which I think are 3.5" wide. If it is OK to get sportspack arches as a factory extra in Pommieland, then you can probably argue that you can put them on your car here, & still be legal. ![]() Oh, BTW - Make sure that "Standard" is actually standard for your car - Later cars had arch extensions to make them legal, so I would assume that they had a wider track too. ![]() |

well if you're talking standard width then no. unless you can get 3.5inch wide 13's with a mini pattern? mine are 5.5 and some people on here are running up to 7" wide i think. i have sportspak flares on mine. I doubt you could get a 13" rim that will fit (width wise) in the standard car dimensions mine are perfomance spitfires. performance also make superlites and a few other wheels in 13" sizes, i think the thinnest they have is 4.5 and i dont know what offsets they are |
