I'm going to pull the G13B out of my mini to change some of the seals and repair a hole in the sump. Whilst it's out what other stuff should I change? At this stage I'm doing the sump seal, the diff seals and the engine mounts. |

Make sure you've got the best gearbox you can get. Timing belt? |

Timing belt / water pump if they are nearly due. Check how much life you have left in your clutch while you have it all out. |

Thanks for the replies. Timing belt is an excellent idea. I don't know why I didn't think of that. I was talking today about it with mates at work. It already has a turbo. T25. I was thinking of downsizing the intercooler. But I know bugger all about injection and turbo cars so I'll leave it for now. And a water pump too. I have found it really hard to buy spares for the injin. The Suzuki and Holden dealers do everything by VIN code now.. I don't have a suitable VIN code. |
