Some of these alto works in Japan have been known to do 12s down the quater mile so yes plenty of potential. I'd try to get a later one if I was doing a conversion though as they had a bigger 660cc instead of the 550cc that this one would be. There are both single cam and twin cam models and I think some of the later ones were 4 cyl instead of 3 cyl. |

I very nearly bought one of those for my conversion, but settled on the honda.... I figured the extra litre(!) of capacity would be better in the long run but it would be a fun little thing |

by the way Trickster, I reckon it might be worth putting it on a honda forum (minus the mini) for a ZC AWD civic I've been fantasizing about taking my spare civic and ZC motor and making one, but I need front panels for it, time, and at least a little bit of money |

My preference is for someone to put the AWD mechanical gear, with the ZC engine, into a Mini. And I really hope that someone will take this on and make a go of it. Like I said I need the space its occupying - but if someone wants to make me an offer for seperate bits......... Thanks, Tricky |
