I've been driving this for quite a while now.

Vehicle: 1973 Clubman
Engine: Honda VTEC B16A
Modifications:

Engineer: Archie Robertson
Rims: You tell me
Brakes: Vented discs with 4 spot calipers, custom subframe with fully adjustable front end

HP: 160
Complete (date or %): Late 1997
Future Plans: Drive it into the ground

Late 97? You built this car 12 years ago?
I'm guessing the engine is from 97 maybe?

It says 1992 on the cam cover, tiger. :)

But the link says it was finished and registered in 07...


I demand an inquiry into these discrepancies before a call it an insurance job. :)

mini clubman is 1973
engine is b16a 1992
fitted together and first registerd 2007

sorry i seem to have two posts going, one should be in the register/

Decided to revive this thread..

I'm looking into doing a b series conversion myself soon and I saw the subframe you had made for it in the other thread... I'm just wondering if the axle line was moved forward with the new subframe to allow the diff to clear the steering rack. On the US sites they say this is the major obstacle for this conversion in RHD cars without changing any of the dimensions.
