It's a nice idea, completely spoiled by not making a subframe for the engine (using the old chassis from the MR2) and those ridiculous flares. It could have been done so much nicer with a stainless subframe (to put on show by opening the doors), and narrowing the track as much as possible then squeezing the wheels in as much as possible.

When I had a Clubman van shell, I mooted the idea but the track difference is just too much to bear.

Those are the ugliest flares I think I've ever seen. Hope the geezer doesn't visit this forum...
