also...these guys www.geronimocages.co.uk are apparently selling
similar z-car type rear mounting frames. couldn't find pics on their
page, but in a magazine article they advertise complete 45mm tube cage,
with bike engine mounts and suspension, brakes, bearings, lsd, etc etc....

food for thought for all you bike-engine-mini dreamers.

SuperSeven, most modern chain driven sports bikes have the sprocket attachment separated from the rear wheel. That is to say that the sprocket is bolted to a plate with fins that fits inside the wheel hub which also contains fins. In the gaps between the two sets of fins is a hard rubber notched disc. This is known as a cush drive short for cushion. It momentarily takes the stress of a hard launch or bad gearchange/lockup. Without it chains would wear quickly or snap, not good on a motorcycle especially at say 240km/h.
