Post subject:  G13B clutch question?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone who has or has done a G13B conversion could tell me what master cylinder and etc they used for the clutch?

The way mine is now the clutch pedal doesn't have a long enough 'throw'. It engages/disengages in the last 1/2 inch before the firewall.

Most use the original mini clutch master & slave.

As all G13b boxes were originally cable operated, your clutch arm has been modified to take the mini slave cylinder. If it is positioned too far out, it will make the clutch pedal easy to press at the expense of travel.

You could either:
a. Reposition the slave cylinder, effectively making the arm shorter
b. Fit a new master cylinder with a slightly larger bore

I'd go for a. as the easiest & cheapest. You could also change the slave cylinder or convert the whole thing to cable, but that's a bit more involved.

That's a nice way of doing it, or you could just weld a bit of steel rod to the end of the one you've got. I just cut 1/2" off the shank of a bolt & welded it on.
