Ok so i'm not all that cluey when it comes to building a car, but was tossing around with this idea and thought some people more in the know might be able to help out. doing a 3efte conversion and going to go water to air option. the boot will be a fuel cell, but here's 2 thoughts: i was concerned with things like minimetoy with the radiator being damaged, so i could mount the water to air radiator under the boot with the main radiator with perhaps a protective cover and some air ducting, or have one radiator on the left hand side of the fuel cell and the other to the right in the boot? both with thermo fans and some well thought out (that's were you guys and gals come in) way of getting good air flow. obviously it's a bit more work, but was wondering if it's worth doing in the long run? i guess ultimately looking at getting the best cooling setup option done. |

as far as I know, the setups with a boot mounted radiator have all used the whole boot floor space for the engine radiator how have the existing ones vented the radiator to air, do they let the air flow through the rad and out the bottom, or via vents in the boot lid? |
