OK not a Mini, but a close relative.
Looks to have been converted to electric sometime in the 70s by a university in the US. Could they have fitted more bells and whistles to this thing? What the hell is 'Field Boost' anyway?

feild boost - changes the lenght of the feild coils in the motor - gives more or less torque
