Hi all,

I have been busy with work, family and other stuff around the hose and in the garage. I went on a road trip to Forster on Saturday and look what came back.

I'll let you guys guess what it is.

I think you need a narrower trailer .... Looks like a lot of fun (and hour's ...) , didn't they have needle roller bearings on the crank ?

Nice one! Those are a great looking little car.

So a conversion hey?
Suzuki Cappacino Turbo would probably fit, but then so would a Charade Turbo twin cam.
Suzuki G13B?

Hayabusa!!!

Probably wouldn't fit but if you wanted to keep it all Honda, S2000 drivetrain!
Are you keeping the chain drive rear axle?

8) Two S600s

Hard enough to find one, let alone two! Have fun, have you found a CBR954RR engine for it yet?

Well done guys, yes they are S600's.

I am still considering which way to proceed, do i rebuild the 600cc motor with roller bearing crank that revs to 9,500 rpm? or do i simply put in a jap motor that will see this 700kg car car scream. Yes it has a chain driven rear end but i would imagine a jap motor would destroy this on the first outing. I'd say i would have to install a new diff.

As you would all know the body sits on an independent chassis so this makes for an easier conversion, a bit like working on a hot rod i suppose.

Good luck with it mate i helped a mate quite a few years ago rebuild a S800, the body panels are made from the thinest metal in any car, really fun to try and replace rust in  people used to put corolla engines in them and the rear end out of the S800 which doesn't have the chain drive. Good thing was that even though they were old honda would supply all the mechanical parts from japan, seems these used to be a fav of the head of honda so they kept all the bits on hand in the homeland
